AIVOS marked a significant milestone by participating for the first time in a United Nations Vietnam roundtable titled “Assessing the Level of Disability Inclusion in Local Governance.” The event brought together key stakeholders and policymakers to explore challenges and solutions surrounding the integration of persons with disabilities into decision-making and public services.
AIVOS was honored to attend as the only AI company present at the forum, invited due to its pioneering work on FLORA—an AI-powered application that converts spoken language into Vietnamese Sign Language. The tool aims to bridge communication gaps and support the inclusion of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in both social and professional settings.
During the discussion, AIVOS shared insights into how artificial intelligence can play a transformative role in addressing employment and access inequalities faced by people with disabilities. The company’s participation emphasized the critical role of technology in creating a more inclusive society and highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in advancing equity through innovation.
This event also underscored AIVOS’s growing impact as a socially driven tech leader, using AI not just for advancement but for advocacy and accessibility on a national and global scale.
